The students at Collingwood School and Media Arts College have recorded this amazing video interview with Barbara Slade.
Barbara is an award-winning television writer with numerous credits on much loved children’s shows such as “Angelina Ballerina”, “Winnie the Pooh”, “Eloise” and “Rotten Ralph”.
She has worked for The Disney Channel, created two original series “Dead Gorgeous” and “Hi Opie” and received a Humanitas for one of her episodes of “Rugrats”.
Barbara was born in Los Angeles, California, but now lives in London.

Collingwood School and Media Arts College were proud to return this year to produce the Morpeth Book Festival videos as part of our ongoing interview series Ask!
Ask! is a question-and-answer video series devised by the young people of Collingwood School, who work to a brief, research their subject and conduct interviews, do the filming, and record the sound to produce the content you see below.
