The Bookmarks Project started as a summer break idea. Collingwood staff were invited to take pictures of their holiday reads and send them in for inclusion in the Bookmarks gallery.

The Bookmarks gallery has proven so popular that we have decided to bring it back for 2026! In addition, we are opening up contributions to parents, carers and anyone who enjoys a good read and feels like sharing an image with us.

The rules are simple: No people in the pictures, please. Only your books photographed in your summer break location. St Tropez, Holy Island or even your back yard!

So why not join in and send us your own page-turners to the address below and, who knows, you may appear on the gallery on this page. Simply grab a shot of your book in some exotic location, tell us where you are doing your reading and email it off to us.
