Phoenix Show 2025
Collingwood’s summer show this year was our first to be staged at the Phoenix Theatre at Blyth in Northumberland.
Our show, a kaleidoscope of song and dance across the decades, was a fantastic success and we have had some incredibly positive feedback from parents, governors and our school partners about the event.
The final show was the culmination of months of planning and reheasal with our students even involved in the recording of backing tracks in the Collingwood Studio.

The Phoenix Theatre has become a full Collingwood Partner, allowing us to work closely together on our Performing Arts, Music, dance and Media projects.
Students are able to become involved in all aspects of theatre work including sound, lighting and design, as well as the skills required by our performers on stage.
Collingwood students are also involved in filming and producing promotional video inserts and advertisements for the Phoenix Theatre in Collingwood’s Video Studio.
The school would like to thank Theatre Director Kyle Crook and his amazing team at the Phoenix for their contribution to Collingwood.
